Sacred Symbol Tattoo
About Sacred Symbol
My name is Chris, and I’ve been tattooing for over 15 years.
I began my career in busy street shops, tattooing people from all walks of life. Those years shaped not only my technical skills, but my approach to people — learning to listen, adapt, and respect each person’s reason for being tattooed. For me, tattooing has always been about more than the image; it’s about trust, story, and connection.
I’m Tasmanian born and raised, and after many years in the traditional street-shop environment, I chose to open Sacred Symbol — a private tattoo studio designed to offer a calmer, more personal experience.
This space is inclusive, unhurried, and trauma-informed. I work with clients who may feel anxious, overwhelmed, or who simply prefer a quieter setting where they can feel comfortable and respected throughout the process.
My work focuses primarily on American Traditional and Blackwork, though I’m happy to work across most styles. I enjoy collaborating with clients to create tattoos that carry meaning, intention, and longevity.
Outside the studio, I’m a father and a husband — roles that keep me grounded and shape how I show up in my work. I value genuine conversation, shared life experience, and building trust through care and professionalism.
I’m a member of the Australian Tattooists Guild and the Professional Tattooing Association of Australia, and I’m committed to high standards of hygiene, safety, and ethical practice.
Sacred Symbol is a space to slow down, connect, and leave with something that truly matters.
